LIFECYCLE TCO ASSESSMENT In-Depth Analysis of the Cost of Wear-Resistant Pipes: The Full-Cycle Value of Composite Slurry Pipes in Aluminum Ore Mining Conditions
Most mine procurement and project teams make the same mistake when sourcing slurry transportation pipes: only comparing upfront purchase prices. It’s easy to pick cheap steel pipes at first glance, but few people calculate the long-term hidden costs that follow — tricky installation, constant maintenance, and costly unplanned production stops. Based on real bauxite mine site experience, we’ve put together a full lifecycle cost comparison between traditional steel pipe andComposite Slurry Pipe. We break down actual spending on materials, field installation, daily upkeep, and true project ROI, to explain why the professional Bauxite Slurry Pipe has...

Analysis of Fluid Operation: Why SRTP Steel Wire Mesh Skeleton Pipe is Preferred in Mine Hydraulic Pipe Networks
In this paper, based on the actual hydraulic conditions of mine water conveyance site, the hydraulic operation differences among steel pipes, ordinary HDPE pipes and SRTP steel mesh skeleton pipes are compared and analyzed from five practical operation and maintenance pain points: pipe wall friction resistance, pipe deformation, interface pressure loss, water hammer tolerance and long-term scaling. This paper shows that SRTP pipeline relies on steel-plastic composite structure, taking into account the smoothness of water delivery and structural rigidity, with lower pressure loss and more stable operation, which is more suitable for high-pressure long-distance water delivery...

    How to choose mine pipeline?
Based on the real working conditions of the mine, this paper explains the applicable scenarios and selection logic of SRTP high-pressure pipeline and UHMWPE wear-resistant pipeline. SRTP is suitable for conventional working conditions such as high-pressure water conveyance and circulating water in mines, and has strong stability. UHMWPE specializes in treating high wear scenes such as tailings and mud, which greatly reduces the operation and maintenance costs. Practical Q&A is attached to the article, which provides a reference for mine pipeline selection and pipe network transformation.
