Recently, a batch of customized ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) pipelines of Luoyang Zhengju New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhengju New Materials") have been produced, tested and loaded, and officially sent to a high-value gold mine project in Guizhou, which will be specially used for the highly corrosive mineral processing agent conveying system in the mining area, providing a core guarantee for the stable and safe operation of the gold ore dressing process.

Many gold mines in Guizhou are associated with complex geological conditions. The mineral processing links need to transport highly corrosive mineral processing reagents containing cyanide, thiourea and other components for a long time, and the pH value of the medium is large (strong acid is strong to alkaline). The long-term use of traditional steel pipes and ordinary PE pipes is prone to corrosion perforation, scaling blockage, aging leakage and other problems, and the average service life is less than 2 years. Frequent replacement not only pushes up the operation and maintenance costs, but also affects the mineral processing efficiency more easily due to shutdown and maintenance, and there is a risk of environmental leakage.

Aiming at the core requirements of "strong corrosion, continuous transportation, safety and environmental protection" of the project, Zhengju New Materials Technology Team has customized a high corrosion-resistant UHMWPE pipeline solution based on years of research and development experience of mine pipelines. The pipeline is made of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, which has three core advantages: extreme corrosion resistance and adaptability to strong corrosive media; the material has strong chemical stability, can withstand the corrosion of acid and alkali media with pH of 2-13 for a long time, and is perfectly suitable for the transportation of strong corrosive fluids such as gold ore dressing and leaching solution, thus eliminating the hidden danger of corrosion perforation of metal pipelines from the root.

Light weight and safety, convenient installation, operation and maintenance: the weight is only 1/8 of that of steel pipe, so it can be transported and installed without large equipment, and it is connected by special joints without hot work, which is suitable for complex construction environment in mining area; At the same time, the material has no metal ion precipitation, which avoids the secondary pollution of mineral processing agent and meets the requirements of environmental protection.
