Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene pipe (UHMWPE pipe) is made of high-performance polyethylene with molecular weight of more than 1.5 million as the core material, refined through continuous extrusion process, with smooth inner wall and extremely low friction coefficient, and has become a revolutionary conveying solution for mining, electric power, chemical industry and other harsh scenes by virtue of the excellent performance of abrasion resistance (up to 4-7 times of ordinary steel pipe), corrosion resistance and impact strength that ranks the first among plastics. Its self-lubricating characteristics can significantly reduce conveying resistance and prevent scaling and clogging, especially suitable for long-distance conveying of highly abrasive materials such as slurry, tailing sand and fly ash. The service life of UHMWPE pipe is much longer than that of traditional metal pipe, which significantly reduces the maintenance cost. At the same time, the pipe has natural corrosion resistance to acid, alkali, salt and organic solvents and other corrosive media, without additional anticorrosion treatment, and can be stably applied in complex environments such as chemical wastewater and corrosive slurries. In a wide temperature range of -70℃ to +80℃, UHMWPE pipe can still maintain excellent impact resistance, combined with lightweight design (density of only 0.95g/cm³), easy to install and adapt to the needs of complex terrain, covering a wide range of scenarios, such as mine powder transportation, electric power de-ash removal, dredging project slurry discharge, chemical fluid treatment. With the optimization of continuous slurry process and scale production capacity (such as 3,600-ton production line), UHMWPE pipes are further extended to the high-end direction of robotic tendons, protective equipment, etc., and become the preferred technology solution for upgrading the industrial conveying system due to abrasion-resistant, economical and multi-functionality.
